Wedding Photography Whaplode Manor | Natalie & Tim

It began to rain heavily as groom Tim sheltered in the grand archway outside Whaplode Church with his best man. Tensions began to mount, no doubt not helped by the sudden down pore; guests began to arrive huddling under umbrella’s. After nearly 2 years of planning their wedding Tim greeted guests with nervous  anticipation of what now lay only a few moments away.

Finally the bridesmaids made the dash up the long path in search of cover, before long though relieved sighs and smiles were shared as the rain clouds receeded for a few minutes. Natalie’s arrival couldn’t have been more perfectly timed; the wedding car pulled to the kerb and the skies momentarily turned blue (ish).  Little did we know that the rain would return with an almost apocalyptic introduction later that afternoon when we had all returned to Whaplode Manor.

“Received our wedding albums this week and am blown away ! Pete did a fabulous job on our wedding day not even thunder lightening and the worst storm ever stopped him from capturing our day! Thank u so much xx”  Nat & Tim Reviews

Natalie and Tims wedding was part 1 of my triple madness August Bank Holiday. 3 weddings in 3 days in 3 towns and 1 whole of lot shooting!

Nat & Tim were wonderful to photograph. They are both easy going lovely people which helped my natural, undirected way of shooting. Despite the weathers best efforts to put a spanner in the works the outcome and results where amazing

I love this shot, I could see it before it happened; Nat and Tim are framed by the arch. Because the photo is 100% organic it preserves the place and feeling of the moment perfectly.

Wedding Photography Whaplode Manor – The clouds gathered… We managed to take a few very quick family photos before an apocalyptic storm brought around 4″ of rain. The local Tesco store roof burst a huge leak because the rain was so heavy! Thankfully, we continued wedding party photos inside along with the drinks reception and wedding breakfast.

Wedding Photography Whaplode Manor – By early evening the rain clouds parted once more which allowed us to stretch our legs and shoot a few photos together before the sun finally set and signalled the start of party time.
