“Where do we begin! We met Peter at a Peterborough Showground wedding fayre a long while back! At this point we had met many photographers at various fayres and they all seemed pretty standard whereas Peter’s photography stood out for us, as well as his personality and attitude (and the beautiful albums he was able to produce and provide!)! We loved the way Peter’s photo’s focused on natural and unplanned moments and the creativity behind them!
Peter met up with us after this for a consultation and we booked him for our wedding about a year in advance there & then!
We had a practice photoshoot before the big day where we were laughing & cringing throughout but Peter made it all good humour and came out with some awesome shots! Infact, some of the cringe shots turned out to be our faves.
On the day of the wedding 08.10.16 at Bassmead Manor Barns, Peter was laid back and great fun, he blended in with our whole day and after a few giggles we didn’t even notice he was taking photo’s and the day flowed beautifully. Peter made the most of grabbing some beautiful photo opportunities whilst we could and took us out to some beautiful areas around the venue that we didn’t even know existed in order to get some original photographs of us as a couple. We personally loved this aspect of his spontaneity as it was creative and meant we had personal photographs that didn’t have the same backdrop as all other bride & groom’s getting married at the same venue.
We received lots of compliments from guests who felt Peter’s approach to the day was fantastic, as we did when the photograph’s came through!
Peter invited us over and showed us a slideshow of photograph’s he had started to edit – WOW , we fell in love with them & it was such a special touch before receiving the images to start planning our album!
Planning the album was the difficult part because there were so many photo’s we both loved!!
Peter helped us along the way and his speed of work and communication were fantastic as he wished for us to receive our final album before Christmas. He even managed to pull it out of the back and secure the album of our dreams that he no longer had dealings with by the time of our wedding! A beautiful vintage italian leather in its own briefcase. It’s safe to say we have no complaints, we will cherish our photo album and the moments it captures and couldn’t be happier that we chose Peter for our big day!
We would 100% recommend Peter to anybody looking for a photographer who feels more like a friend! Easy to work with, great and original ideas and passionate about capturing amazing moments!”
